CHICKEN SAUSAGE PROTEIN PASTA


Macros (recipe for 1 serving- double/triple if needed) 

  • Calories: ~355

  • Protein: ~41g

  • Carbs: ~33g

  • Fat: ~15g



This high-protein pasta is the perfect comfort meal that still fits your macros. Using lean chicken sausage and protein pasta, it delivers flavor and fullness without derailing progress.


Ingredients


  • 1 oz dry Chickpea or high-protein pasta

  • 2 Chicken sausage links (lower fat)

  • ¼ cup Marinara sauce

  • ¼ cup low fat cottage cheese

  • 2 cups spinach or veggies (for more volume!) 

  • Optional: light mozzarella cheese


Directions


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Slice and sauté chicken sausage with avocado spray.

  3. To a small blender, combine marinara and cottage cheese. Blend until smooth. 

  4. To the pan with sausage, add spinach and cook until wilted. 1-2 minutes.

  5. Add in cooked spaghetti and sauce. Stir until well-combined. 

  6. Top with light cheese if you desire (will need to add macros).
