CHICKEN SAUSAGE PROTEIN PASTA
Macros (recipe for 1 serving- double/triple if needed)
Calories: ~355
Protein: ~41g
Carbs: ~33g
Fat: ~15g
This high-protein pasta is the perfect comfort meal that still fits your macros. Using lean chicken sausage and protein pasta, it delivers flavor and fullness without derailing progress.
Ingredients
1 oz dry Chickpea or high-protein pasta
2 Chicken sausage links (lower fat)
¼ cup Marinara sauce
¼ cup low fat cottage cheese
2 cups spinach or veggies (for more volume!)
Optional: light mozzarella cheese
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Slice and sauté chicken sausage with avocado spray.
To a small blender, combine marinara and cottage cheese. Blend until smooth.
To the pan with sausage, add spinach and cook until wilted. 1-2 minutes.
Add in cooked spaghetti and sauce. Stir until well-combined.
Top with light cheese if you desire (will need to add macros).
